How To Cure Panic Attacks For Good

by admin on March 17, 2011

Panic attacks can be cured! Our attitude in the face of such an overwhelming ailment is the most significant factor enabling us to move towards a way to cure panic attacks.

Wikipedia: “Panic Attacks are episodes of intense fear or apprehension that are of sudden onset and of relatively brief duration. Panic attacks usually begin abruptly, reach a peak within 10 minutes, and are mainly over within 30 minutes. Panic attacks can be as short as 15 seconds, or can be cyclic, lasting for an extended period, sometimes hours.

Often those afflicted will experience significant anticipatory anxiety and limited symptom attacks in between attacks, in situations where attacks have previously occurred. The effects of a panic attack vary. Some, notably first-time sufferers, may call for emergency services.

Many who experience a panic attack, mostly for the first time, fear they are having a heart attack or a nervous breakdown. Experiencing a panic attack has been said to be one of the most intensely frightening, upsetting and uncomfortable experiences of a person’s life.”

The five steps to freedom:

1.    Participate in our own panic attacks treatment

If we pay attention to every aspect of our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we can evaluate what is offered to us as a cure, make our own suggestions, and try new approaches. Keeping a journal of our panic journey ensures participation as we think through what is happening.

2.    Be patient

The impulse is to rush to “get over it” and be rid of the panic attacks. However, impatience will increase the possibility of a panic attack incidence. Consider the experience as a journey of self discovery and take time to be immersed in the experience.

3.    Be alert to side effects

If panic attacks medication is being used, it is critical to be aware of side effects while on the regimen, noting the beginning of the side effects and what they are, and how they might change during the time of the medical treatment. There might be side effects to other healing modalities that could be negative &/or positive. An example: certain herbs and vitamins might cause diarrhea, which while unpleasant could be cleansing our intestinal system.

4.    Join a panic disorder support group

A very under-rated approach to developing a healthy balanced approach to curing the panic attacks. It is best if the support group is facilitated by a professional and that the participants in the group have all experienced panic attacks and meet regularly at least fortnightly. The group becomes a safe trusting space for people to express the full extent of their experiences and distress without being judged as “weak” or “crazy”.

5.    Head On

There is no point tackling such a severe issue halfheartedly. The only way to successfully cure our panic attack, is to face the problem Head On – Gung Ho! So, get serious and stop panic attacks stone cold. There is a cure if you put the work. There is no miracle cure though.  Does not exist! Sorry.  There are programs available that takes panic attacks head on naturally, no drugs.

A program I highly recommend you have a look at is The Linden Method. It provides lots of solid testimonials and references, and reviews from doctors, hospitals and psychologists with experience of The Linden Method as well. It is compelling. See my review and check it out for yourself then you decide.
